As it’s right handed brother, it sounds warm and beautiful with a solid red cedar top and mahogany back. The Breedlove Bridge Truss facilitates overtones, enabling a richer more complex sound. It is easy to play on a 1 11/16 inch radiused neck and feaures premium LR Baggs EAS electronics. The cutaway body gives full access to all 20 frets. It is comfortable to hold and terrific to play.

Solid Red Cedar Wood Top

Along with its body shape, a guitar’s top is the defining element of its sound, driving, through its vibration, the key aspects of volume, tone, sustain and projection. Spruce for example will, due in part to its famous stiffness-to-weight ratio, ring loud and clear. Softer than spruce, with a warmer cast to its look and its tone, western red cedar has less headroom for a heavy attack, but comes alive—with sweet harmonics and a wide tonal palette—for a lighter touch. Related to mahogany, it shares a focused sound, much loved by finger stylists. A solid wood top translates vibrations with more immediacy and purity of tone, and reacts more directly with the intent of a player.
